Combinex is an oral drench formulated for the treatment and control of parasitic bronchitis, parasitic gastroenteritis, and fasciolosis in sheep. It combines two active ingredients, levamisole hydrochloride, group 2 (yellow drench), which is effective gainst a range of gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms and, triclabendazole, which targets all stages of liver fluke (from 2 day old early immature to adult fluke).
The dosage rate of Combinex is 1ml per 5kg of body weight orally. This provides 7.5mg of levamisole hydrochloride and 10mg of triclabendazole per kg. Make sure to use an appropriate drenching gun for accurate dosing. Combinex can be safely administered to young or pregnant sheep. The withdrawal period for meat is 56 days, and you can not administer to sheep producing milk for human consumption.
